Fireworks: Day 1
Slow start to the fireworks booth. Didn't open until the afternoon. Warm day but nice breeze kept things tolerable. Only a few sales. Maybe slowest first day ever for me. But full weekend ahead. Lots of volunteers lined up. Lots of stuff to sell. Lots of fun to be had! But maybe few blog entries because of my insane schedule for the next six days. We'll see.

Can I just say bless you. I don't envy you at all. This is the second time in 12 years I haven't been out there baking my guts out selling fireworks. For all who do they should be given a crown. Especially those who started in a fireworks booth as a leader in a youth group only to grow up and be in charge of one. Hope all goes well. If I were closer I would come by my fireworks from you. I hope there are many others out there who view the 4th as not being the 4th until you burn the snot out of your thumb. If they view it that way then may they come buy their $100 dollars worth of fireworks from you.
